About Us

Terry W. Stewart i.e. TW, and his wife Robin, opened TW's in 1981. Now almost three decades later, their family has grown as well as their business. Now with a 23-year-old son Justin, and 21-year-old daughter, Britton, the Stewart's family business has grown to include three stores located in Nags Head, Kitty Hawk and Corolla.

Each store offers extensive inventories of rods, reels and tackle plus a complete selection of fresh, frozen and live baits. Exquisite custom rods and unique hand-tied flies are just another example of how TW's strives to include items for even the discriminating angler. The Kitty Hawk and Nags Head locations stock a wide-range of hunting apparel from manufacturers such as Browning® and Columbia®. From waterfowl to whitetail, TW's has ammunition and hunting accessories for all sportsmen and women.

Also included in the inventory is the Outer Banks largest selection of Costa Del Mar sunglasses and a diverse collection of functional clothing such as Pelagic®, Columbia Sportswear®, Aventura®, Aftco Bluewater Wear®, "Guy Harvey®" and "Calcutta®" tee shirts to mention a few.
